Being an artist isn't a piece of cake. Many people out there think being an artist isn't a 'real job' but they're wrong , they're completely wrong. I've been told, making art and creating art pieces is a good thing, being an artist is a good thing , you can be an artist. you got to find a real job when you grow up though. what do people even mean being an artist isn't a real job? There are many people out there who chose being an artist over being a doctor or something and they didn't end up poor, they're not homeless. After all, Vincent van Gogh and Leonardo da Vinci aren't famous for nothing !
Even though being an artist isn't as easy as people think , its fun being an artist, its fun mixing colors and the best of all , its fun finding people that have the same passion as you. Being an artist is magical , you see the beautiful in the ordinary. Being an artist is all about being fearless and obsessive.
You can control the colors or you can just let the colors flow on the paper and let them do their own magic. You can just play around with your favourite colors. You can create dreamy galaxies ,you can create fuzzy art ,you can create landscapes, you can create abstract art , you can create pretty much anything you want. There are no restrictions , you can create as much as you wish. You can create what you see irl. And nothing is as good as that feeling you get when your artwork turned out the way you wanted it to.
If you don't like your artwork , don't get discouraged , its okay honey , its completely okay. Simply remember what Ralph Waldo Emerson said "every artist was first an amateur". You'll improve with time. All you have to do is keep going , you'll be proud of yourself someday.
If someone criticizes your art , just ignore them. Just let go of it. You just don't need that kind of negativity in your life. You're not painting or creating art pieces for them. Its for you and only for you , their approval is not needed.
Just keep going. Keep creating. Keep painting. Keep sketching and keep encouraging the artist in you.
