The art of being an artist

I've been painting for a while now and I've always loved painting. I've always loved experimenting and trying out new art supplies and new watercolor techniques. I've always loved holding that paint brush in my hand,dipping it into water then finally,into the color of my choice. painting brings me joy. painting brings me happiness. I've always considered painting as a heavenly thing.It just feels heavenly to paint what you love,to paint what you like and to paint something that makes you feel you're an artist.  Being an artist means waking up everyday to create something new, to try out something you've never tried before. Being an artist isn't a piece of cake. Many people out there think being an artist isn't a 'real job' but they're wrong , they're completely wrong. I've been told, making art and creating art pieces is a good thing, being an artist is a good thing , you can be an artist. you got to find a real job when you grow up though. what do people even mean being an artist isn't a real job? There are many people out there who chose being an artist over being a doctor or something and they didn't end up poor, they're not homeless. After all,  Vincent van Gogh and Leonardo da Vinci aren't famous for nothing !
